Make a turkey

Materials:
• 1 large pine cone
• Sheets of colored construction paper
• 10 feathers
Directions:
Help your child find one large pine cone. Dust the cone to remove dirt and sand. Use construction paper to cut out a turkey's head, neck and colorful feathers. Lay the pine cone lengthwise on a flat surface. Glue the head into the cone's pointed end. Arrange the feathers on the pine cone on the opposite end from the head.
