Firefighter Obstacle Course

•Tires
•Stepping stones
•Ribbons or badges
Directions:
Explain that firefighters have to be healthy and strong. They must go through rigorous training before they can receive their badge. Set up an outdoor obstacle course using items such as piles of dirt, tires, or stepping stones. After your course has been created, explain that your child will go through the “fire zone” as fast as he can. They will probably want to run the course several times. At the end of the course, give your child a badge or ribbon for successfully completing the course.
