Be A Painter

You’ll need:
• Can or pail
• Water
• Paint brush
Here’s how:
Give your child a pail (or coffee can) of water and a paintbrush (a 3” – 4”
size brush is especially fun). Show your child areas outside where he is
allowed to “paint” (sidewalks, walls, fences). Help your child notice how
quickly the “paint” dries on a sunny day. Why doesn’t it dry as quickly in
shady areas?
