Sock Puppets
bob_sockpuppets.jpg

You’ll need:
• Mismatched socks
• Buttons
• Felt
• Glue
• Yarn
• Pom-pons
• Craft scraps

Here’s how:
Recycle and reuse old socks by using mismatched socks to make sock
puppets. Place your hand inside a sock to mark places for eyes, nose,
mouth and so on. Glue or sew on buttons and felt for facial features.
Decorate with yarn hair, pom-poms, rick-rack, and other available scraps.
Children might have extra fun making the puppets into their favorite
character from Bob the Builder. Use a yellow, red, green, blue or orange
sock to make one of Bob’s machines or make a Bob, Wendy or Spud puppet.
Use the puppets to put on a puppet show acting out a favorite episode of
Bob the Builder!
