Shoe Box Town

You’ll need:
• Boxes of various sizes (shoe boxes, cereal boxes, etc.)
• Markers
• Glue
• Construction paper
• Blocks
Here’s how:
Help your child decorate several different boxes to look like various places
either in your neighborhood or in Sunflower Valley. Start by gluing
construction paper to the boxes. Use markers to draw windows, doors, and
to decorate the boxes to make them look like buildings. Decorate buildings
to look like Bob’s house, Wendy’s Caravan, or Meg’s Dairy Farm. Use wooden blocks to create roads and sidewalks. Children will have fun using their imaginations while playing in the town they created!
