After carving a pumpkin with your child, allow your him/her to feel the ooey, gooey inside of a pumpkin. Scoop out all the seeds. Wash them and lay them on wax paper to dry. When they are dry, put them on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt. Bake the seeds and eat! Discuss how the seeds have changed.
